The course "Modern political parties and ideologies" focuses on the analysis of political ideologies that emerged in the twentieth century and that have significantly influenced contemporary societies. Thus, the study of these ideologies is essential to understand the current political context and to form a broader perspective on the world in which we live.

Among the political ideologies that will be analyzed in this course are liberalism, conservatism, social democracy, communism and fascism, as well as other more recent political currents such as environmentalism or neoliberalism.

In the course, we will analyze in detail the fundamental principles, values and ideas of each ideology, as well as the historical and social context in which they appeared. We will also explore how these ideologies have developed and evolved over time, as well as their impact on contemporary politics and society.

Finally, through this course, we aim to provide a broad and diverse perspective on modern political ideologies, to allow students to form their own opinions and develop a deeper understanding of the world in which we live.

·               The purpose of the discipline is aimed at assimilating a baggage of connotances about "Modern political parties and ideologies".

·               The objectives of the course are to prepare students for a successful career in the dynamic professional area of political activity in the conditions of democratic development and in comparison between different states.

·               The methodical basis represents the set of methods, techniques and procedures regarding the approach of content units. Beneficiaries: the subject is taught to the students of the specialty International Relations, second year (first semesterV). Teaching is done in English.
